The opening of such a space is an important event for the city. The recovery office will allow for a comprehensive approach to the development and post-war recovery of Mykolaiv. This was discussed at the meeting. The key problems and needs of the city and its residents were also discussed once again.

“Today we opened the City Recovery and Development Office. We welcomed our guests to Mykolaiv: the Danish Embassy and representatives of UNDP Ukraine, who helped us open it. This is a place where all recovery projects will converge, and project managers will work to attract funds for the development of Mykolaiv, including the development of small and medium-sized businesses in our city. This entire project was implemented with the help of the embassies of Sweden, Denmark and UNDP. They provided equipment, furniture and everything else that was needed. I would like to thank our partners. This is a very important initiative that will help the city of Mykolaiv in its post-war recovery,” said Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych.
