The Supervisory Board of the Mykolaiv Development Agency has begun its work. It is a team of external experts who will help improve the quality, transparency, and effectiveness of projects.
At the first meeting, attended by Mykolaiv Deputy Mayor Serhii Koreniev, Agency Director Viktor Sikalenko and Cooperation Advisor Ihor Filippov, they discussed current issues relating to the institution’s activities. In particular, the participants focused on amendments to the Statute and identified the main areas for further work in the field of urban development and public engagement.
The Supervisory Board consists of:
- Daria Frych-Alchina — Chair of the Board, Manager of the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House;
- Iryna Boyar — Coordinator of SCLR (Survivor Community Led Response);
- Kateryna Matsko — coordinator of the Mykolaiv branch of the Rokada Charitable Foundation;
- Volodymyr Moiseenko — director of Apollon LLC;
- Natalia Sharata — Vice-Rector for Scientific, Pedagogical and Educational Work;
- Taras Byk — Member of the Board of the NGO Agency for Restoration and Development;
- Svitlana Kryzhanivska-Blino — Coordinator of the Cities4Cities United4Ukraine initiative.

The members of the Council will participate in evaluating projects, formulating recommendations, and developing new initiatives aimed at restoring and strengthening Mykolaiv.
“It is important for us that each project brings real results for residents. The Supervisory Board is an opportunity to make the Agency’s work even more open and effective,” said Viktor Sikalenko.
