Recently, we organized a two-day project management training for students of Mykolaiv National Agrarian University. During the event, students got acquainted with the main stages of project implementation, the principles of attracting grants, and the opportunities available to young people.
The speaker of the event, Director of the Mykolaiv City Council’s municipal institution Mykolaiv Development Agency Viktor Sikalenko, spoke in detail about the basics of project management, including:
- stages of project planning and implementation;
- formulation of goals, objectives, and key results;
- effective teamwork.

In addition to the theoretical part, the speaker explained how to fill out grant applications, find international and national funds that support youth initiatives, and shared successful examples of implemented projects.
A special motivation for the students was a meeting with Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych, who noted that young people are not the future, but the present, and that their ideas and initiatives matter today.

The training was organized by the Mykolaiv Development Agency and the Adult Training and Education Center “Pivden” to raise social awareness and youth activism.
