As part of the project “Reintegration of War Veterans through the Creation of Educational Opportunities,” Mykolaiv veterans won four business grants to develop their businesses.

According to the rules of the competition, this year’s support is provided for 20 business grants. However, in order to develop small businesses for female and male veterans and their families, DVV International Ukraine decided to provide business grants and support to 25 applicants who met the conditions and priorities of this competition and scored the highest points.

Among the 25 winners from seven regions, Mykolaiv veterans and their families won four projects. The winning requests/business ideas are as follows:

  • to create a food delivery service;
  • to sell quail meat and eggs raised on a family quail farm;
  • service station;
  • tattoo studio and tattoo art training.

We congratulate the winners and wish them success in realizing their business ideas!

The project “Reintegration of War Veterans through the Creation of Educational Opportunities” is implemented with the financial support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. In the Mykolaiv region, the project is being implemented by the NGO Adult learning and education center “South” in partnership with the Mykolaiv Development Agency.

The work of the experts took place within the framework of the project “Youth and Public Office for Development and Interaction” with the assistance of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine and financial support from the Government of Denmark.
