Mykolaiv Business Hub: cooperation for the recovery and development of the region

In early April 2025, the Mykolaiv Business Hub took place, an important step towards economic recovery and sustainable development of the region. The event brought together representatives of international organizations, business and local authorities to discuss key areas of investment, entrepreneurship and post-war reconstruction.

Oleh Feshchenko, an expert of the Recovery and Development Office, presented programs to support small and medium-sized businesses.

“The programs provide entrepreneurs with access to financial instruments, training and mentoring support. Particular attention is paid to local initiatives that help create jobs and strengthen the economic sustainability of the region,” explained Oleh Feshchenko.

Among the key participants of the event were Kaare Stamer Andreasen (EIFO), Peter Helk, Yuliia Muzychenko (Danish Industries), Flemming Storgaard, Lone Jager Neldeberg, Viktoriia Reva (Ikast-Brande Municipality), Jakob Hansen and Tetiana Bochkarova (Embassy of Denmark in Ukraine – Mykolaiv Office). Everyone shared their experience, such as opportunities for attracting investment, prospects for cooperation, including international cooperation, approaches to municipal development and support for entrepreneurship.

The event was also attended by local business representatives who spoke about their own experience in economic recovery and the implementation of technological solutions.

All participants expressed their readiness for further cooperation and implementation of joint projects that will strengthen the economic potential of the region.
