Today, 8 August, a working meeting was held on the implementation of projects in partnership with the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO). The progress of current initiatives was discussed, priority tasks for the near future were identified, and the timeframes for the completion of each project were clarified.
In particular, they discussed the stages of work, those responsible for implementation, and the need for coordination between all parties.
The partnership with NEFCO is one of the key areas of Mykolaiv’s recovery, which is supported and promoted by Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych. Thanks to the support of our Danish partners, the city is implementing important projects to modernise its infrastructure.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Mayor Serhiy Korenev, as well as representatives of the executive bodies of the Mykolaiv City Council and municipal enterprises MKP Mykolaivvodokanal, KP MMU Mykolaivelektrotrans, and OKP Mykolaivoblteljeenergo.
“For us, NEFCO is not just an investment, but comprehensive support in implementing systemic changes. We are working to make Mykolaiv more sustainable, comfortable and safe for every resident. This is a joint effort that will have a long-term effect,” emphasised Deputy Mayor Serhii Korenev.
Such meetings are an important element of systematic work, allowing for effective planning and rapid response to challenges. We thank our partners for their professional approach and willingness to engage in dialogue.
