In Mykolaiv, 300 exhibits from the collections of two museums will be digitised with the support of the UСF

August 20, 2025

The digital collection will include items from the Vereshchagin Art Museum in Mykolaiv and the Mykolaiv Regional Museum of Local History.

These are 20th-century paintings by famous Ukrainian artists and representatives of the Southern Ukrainian art school, including Kyriak Kostandi, Leonid Inglese, Danylo Krainov, Oleksandr Atsmanchuk, Mykhailo Bozhii, Oleksii Shovkunenko, Oleksandr Tatarenk, Andrii Antoniuk, Oleksii Markitan, Dmytro Moldavanov, and others.

The works of the artistic couple and creative duo Alla Gorska and Viktor Zaretsky, who were one of the most prominent creative pairs of the cultural revival of the 1960s, were a real find. The collection includes many works by the classics of the vibrant and distinctive Transcarpathian art school, in particular, Yosyp Bokshay, Andriy Kotska, and Volodymyr Mykyta.
