As part of the global Bloomberg Philanthropies programme (which covered 100 cities around the world, including Mykolaiv), the Mykolaiv Youth Climate Action Fund in 2025 received $100,000 in funding from partners to support youth-led climate initiatives. As part of a sub-granting programme supported by the Mykolaiv Development Agency, local youth were able to implement 18 projects — from green spaces and restoration of recreational areas to lectures and innovative experiments!
