An administrative services centre has opened in the Zavodskoy district

An Administrative Services Centre (ASC) has opened in the Zavodskyi district (11/5 Tsentralnyi Avenue). The opening of the new office will significantly facilitate access to administrative services for residents and visitors to the city, which in turn will reduce the workload on the ASC’s main office.

The Mykolaiv Development Agency supported the implementation of this project — from communication with partners, technical support, and expert involvement to practical coordination of implementation. We worked together with the Capital Construction Department of the Mykolaiv City Council, the Administrative Services Department of the Mykolaiv City Council, international partners, and donor organisations.

“Thanks to cooperation with the Government of Denmark, the Danish Embassy in Ukraine, the Danish office in Mykolaiv, as well as UNDP Ukraine and the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), we were able to finance the work and provide the ASC with everything it needed,” said Mayor Oleksandr Senkevich.

The new ASC has been designed in accordance with accessibility principles: it has a convenient ramp, accessible premises and a comfortable space for all visitors. It has 10 workstations, a self-service terminal and facilities for providing around 140 administrative services, ranging from registration of residence and real estate to business services. The building also has a shelter that can be used during air raid alerts.

It should be noted that the first meeting to discuss the concept of this project to create a new ASC unit and review the location took place in March 2024. At that time, the Danish Refugee Council expressed interest in financing the major renovation of non-residential premises and providing expert support in creating a training component on psychosocial and professional adaptation for new staff.

We are sincerely grateful to our partners, namely the Danish Refugee Council and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for their cooperation in the restoration and development of important areas of the city’s life.
