Announcement on the Launch of a Working Group as Part of the Project “Mykolaiv Region Recovery Network: Engaging Communities in Joint Decision-Making”

July 16, 2026

Dear residents of Mykolaiv!

The Mykolaiv Development Agency is launching the formation of a working group to engage the Mykolaiv City Territorial Community—an open consultative and advisory body that will bring together representatives of civil society, local government, the business community, and initiative groups to work together on the community’s recovery and development.

The goal of the working group is to create a permanent consultative and advisory platform to ensure the systematic participation of residents, civil society organizations, businesses, and representatives of socially vulnerable groups in the processes of recovery, strategic planning, and public monitoring of the implementation of community recovery projects.

The working group should facilitate the establishment of a transparent dialogue between local government bodies, the public, the business community, internally displaced persons, veterans, youth, people with disabilities, and other stakeholders, as well as ensure the coordination of public oversight of the recovery processes and raise awareness of the DREAM system.
