From idea to model: participants complete 3D modelling course in Mykolaiv

April 7, 2025

In March, two groups of participants mastered key skills for working with three-dimensional graphics and printing.

This was reported on the page of the Adult learning and education center “South”.

The two groups learned how to generate models using neural networks, edit them and adapt them for printing, model technical models in Fusion 360, set up printers for SLA and FDM printing, prepare models in slices and print them, and post-process their finished products.

At the end of the course, each participant developed and presented two of their unique models in the STL digital format and printed them using two different technologies – FDM and SLA.

This course helped the participants gain the basic knowledge and skills to work in the promising digital field.

The training course is supported by the French organization AFUCO, the “Adult learning and education center “South” in cooperation with the Mykolaiv Development Agency, with financial support from Credit Agricole Bank, UNDP and DVV International.
