On February 19, students of the Mykolaiv College of Civil Engineering took part in the second workshop on urban planning organized by the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Mykolaiv City Council and the Mykolaiv Development Agency.
The lecturer was Nicolai Stenø, a Danish architect and lecturer at Aalborg University who specializes in parametric design and the restoration of destroyed objects. He shared his international experience in analyzing urban areas and gave students practical advice.
The result of the students’ work is nine concepts for the improvement of the Cascade Square and the adjacent territory at 265 Tsentralnyi Avenue. The participants analyzed the area, took into account the needs of residents, and proposed modern architectural solutions.
